SHERY CROW WILL HEADLINE the 23-city Jeep World Outside Festival, between July 10 and August 17, which includes a multisport adventure village and performances by Ziggy Marley, O.A.R., and Train. We caught up with Crow before she hit the road—and the climbing wall.

Q: WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE OUTDOOR SPORTS?
A: I love hiking, and I'm really getting into surfing. I learned how to longboard while we were making the "Soak Up the Sun" video, and now I surf around home in L.A.

Q: WHAT'S YOUR DREAM ADVENTURE?
A: I'd love to go to India to do some trekking. I don't want to mountain climb or anything. I want to go to that area and set out on a spiritual journey in the wilderness.

Q: ARE YOU GOING TO VISIT THE OUTSIDE ADVENTURE VILLAGE?
A: I'm afraid I'll be out front in the village more than I'll be onstage. I'd like to try to learn snowboarding on the skiing machine. I want to try the climbing wall, too. I've done some rock climbing, but I'm not that experienced.
